Victor's Garden

Welcome to a story that began over 140 years ago, in the heart of Helsinki.

Stories have no end. Only new beginnings.

Viktor Ek – adventurer, dreamer, and merchant – once sailed the world in search of wonders, and brought them home. Oriental rugs, fragrant spices, exotic furniture, and tales from distant lands all found their way here, into this house – the second oldest stone building in Helsinki.

Now, decades later, Victor’s Garden continues his story – an experience where past and present are woven together.

In Victor's Garden, the flavours and stories of the world flourish – deep, intense family recipes and secrets from faraway places, where the brightness of coriander, the sweetness of cinnamon, and the glow of chili speak of timeless hospitality. On the cocktail list, you’ll find eternal classics and new creations born of passion – drinks infused with the scents and stories of many worlds.

Victor’s Garden is a window into how Helsinki has changed: from a small fishing village into a vibrant, diverse, and open-minded city, where cultures meet in harmony – on plates, in glasses, and through stories.

Here, the influence of distant lands lives on – alongside the flavours and ideas of new generations. Here in the kitchen, globetrotters and dreamers continue the tale – one as timeless as the power of taste itself.

Come. Step into the garden where worlds meet – right next to Hotel Haven in Eteläranta 16.
