Hotel Haven is a premier boutique hotel in Helsinki, designed to provide gracious warmth, exclusive comfort, and high-quality services. Our 137 individual and well-appointed rooms, premium restaurant, and conference services are conveniently situated in the attractive setting of Helsinki’s Market Square.

WHERE IS HOTEL HAVEN LOCATED?

Hotel Haven is located in a prestigious neighborhood in Helsinki, right in the immediate vicinity of Eteläranta and the Market Square. Thanks to our central location, our hotel is easy to find and access. All the city's major transport links and ferry terminals are just a stone’s throw away.

FROM THE AIRPORT

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is located approximately 30 minutes (20 km) away by taxi. The most convenient public transport connection to the city center is the commuter train (I or P) to the Central Railway Station or the 600 bus line. From the Railway Station, it is a pleasant 1-kilometer walk to the hotel.

FERRY TERMINALS

The South Harbour (international cruise ships), Olympia Terminal (Silja Line), and Katajanokka Terminal (Viking Line) are all located nearby. You can arrive on foot or utilize the tram network (e.g., lines 2, 3, and 5).

The West Terminal (Tallink, Eckerö Line) is located in Jätkäsaari, approximately 3.5 km from the hotel. The most convenient tram connection is line 7, which brings you closest to the hotel (Senate Square stop), while line 9 goes directly to the Central Railway Station. A taxi ride from the terminal takes about 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic.

DO YOU HAVE ACCESSIBLE ROOMS?.

Hotel Haven offers accessible-friendly rooms designed for guests with limited mobility. These rooms feature wider bathroom entries, walk-in showers, and are located close to the elevators for easy access.

WHAT SIGHTSEEING IS CLOSE TO THE HOTEL?

Hotel Haven is situated at the gateway to Helsinki’s most iconic landmarks and cultural treasures. Most of the city's highlights are just a few minutes from our front door:

• Market Square & Presidential Palace: Located right outside our front door, the bustling Market Square is the heart of the city, flanked by the majestic Presidential Palace.
• Sea Excursions: From the Market Square, you can catch a ferry to the UNESCO World Heritage site Suomenlinna or the charming island of Lonna, perfect for a summer day trip.
• Helsinki Cathedral: The iconic white landmark at Senate Square is reachable in just 5 minutes on foot.
• SkyWheel Helsinki: Enjoy breathtaking views of the city and sea from the SkyWheel, located only a short walk across the square.
• Tähtitorninmäki (Observatory Hill): A 5-minute stroll brings you to this beautiful, elevated park offering panoramic views over the South Harbour.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?

Hotel Haven has an underground parking facility (floor -3) for 16 cars. There is a direct lift connection to the hotel. Entry and exit are from Eteläranta 14. Parking can not be accessed without a key card, so please check in at the reception first. Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance. Daily parking fee 39 €. The weight limit of the car elevator is maximum 2500kg.

In addition Hotel customers get 20% discount of the Aimo Park Kasarmitori parking fees. Please ask for the discount coupon at the reception.

Entrance and exit are situated on Fabianinkatu 17, 00130 Helsinki. Passenger exits from the garage: S-Market Kasarmitori, Fabianinkatu 4.

For electric car owners there are also 8 charging points available at Aimo Park Kasarmitori.

HOW CAN I PAY AT THE HOTEL?

We accept all major debit and credit cards. At our reception, we also accept cash payments.

IS BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN MY STAY?

Yes, our premium breakfast is included in most room rates. However, it is also possible to book your stay without breakfast if you prefer.

WHEN IS BREAKFAST SERVED?

Start your day in the charming atmosphere of the historic Restaurant Haven in the Sundmans building, where we serve our premium breakfast with stunning views of the Market Square.

• Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 10:00
• Saturday – Sunday & Public Holidays: 08:00 – 11:00

During weekends, to ensure a peaceful and relaxed experience for all our guests, we utilize staggered breakfast seating. Upon arrival or check-in, we kindly ask you to select a preferred time slot for your breakfast. This helps us manage the flow and maintain the tranquil, timeless atmosphere that Restaurant Haven is known for.

ARE THERE DINING OPTIONS AT THE HOTEL?

Our elegant main restaurant Restaurant Haven is dedicated exclusively to private dinners and bespoke events, providing a secluded and prestigious setting for your celebrations. Our breakfast is served at Restaurant Haven. Bar Haven is a cozy retreat with a fireplace, offering a curated selection of champagnes, whiskies, and classic cocktails. It is the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the city.

Our partner restaurants Victor's Garden and Victors Krog are conveniently located right next door at Eteläranta 16.

DO YOU HAVE SPACES FOR MEETINGS AND EVENTS?

Hotel Haven offers a range of conference rooms both large and small. You can choose between four conference rooms and our spacious auditorium that seats up to 62 guests. The two conference rooms on the first floor can be connected into one large meeting room with capacity for over 40 guests. Restaurant Haven, located in Helsinki's second oldest stone building offers you a unique setting for private events for up to 100 guests.

CAN I BRING MY PET?

We welcome your furry companions to stay with you. For an additional fee of just €15 per night, your pet can enjoy their very own pamper package, including tasty treats, food and water bowls for use during your stay, and dedicated towels for your pet companion. You can easily add our pet-package to your reservation as an extra service when booking.

DO YOU HAVE A GYM?

Hotel Haven gym is open 24/7, so you can come and exercise whenever you want. You can access the gym with your keycard and it is free and open only for hotel guests. You can find our gym on the basement level.
