Haven Tasting Society’s first wine tasting of the autumn begins with a special guest from Italy!
We are delighted to welcome Federica Boffa, the young director and fifth-generation figurehead of the Pio Cesare winery, who will be hosting the tasting in person. Join us for an unforgettable wine evening as we journey to the heart of Piedmont, hear fascinating stories directly from the producer, and taste selection from one of Italy's most prestigious wineries.
Founded in 1881, Pio Cesare has spent five generations shaping the definition of traditional, elegant, and world-class Piedmontese wine. The winery's cellars are located in the heart of Alba, embraced by Roman walls over 2,000 years old. Federica Boffa leads the historic estate forward with great passion, honoring the legacy of her father, Pio Boffa, while bringing a young, fresh perspective to the table. Their wines are renowned for their stunning structure, nuance, and exceptional aging potential.
During the tasting, we will experience a comprehensive showcase of Pio Cesare’s signature style, guided by Federica. Expect a beautifully balanced and magnificent selection.
